In 1965 Francis Lord published The Civil War Collector's Encyclopedia. The big was an instant bestseller among collectors and historians of the conflict. Dr. Lord was already established in the field having written a number of mainstream books on the Civil War. By 1975 he published a sequel to his landmark work. It became Volume II. Others would follow. This book has long been a must have for serious collectors. Hardbound, 8 1/2" x 11", 210 pages, color dust jacket. Very good condition. From the library of William S. Mussenden.
